5. Conclusion

I did a bit of research on the best luxury hotel in Barcelona, and I came up with what I think is the best.
The Mandarin Oriental Barcelona is located in the very center of the city, overlooking the harbor. This two-star hotel offers rooms that are stylishly decorated and affordably priced as evidenced by its 2-star rating.
It also has swimming pools on all floors, an indoor sports center and an elegant restaurant. You can even take a massage at the spa and relax to a relaxing jazz soundtrack in their main lobby.
I’d definitely stay here again if I was back in Barcelona. The staff is very friendly, yet professional and not overly intrusive when you feel like having a private or small lunch or dinner away from your room (your room has a small kitchenette that you can use). The food at the Mandarin Oriental Barcelonas is also surprisingly good for such an expensive place with lots of options (you don’t even have to eat here; it’s just nice to sit outside) .
The only downside is that it might be somewhat difficult to get a reservation since this place doesn’t usually get booked up until quite late (it’s one of those spots where people live for many years before deciding to move on), so you might want to call ahead if you want to be sure of getting a spot. Otherwise, this place will be perfect for someone who wants to experience Barcelona but doesn’t want to pay top-dollar for it!
